Product Data Manager at SNI Technology Meriden, CT
As Product Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing various data file within the company; including but not limited to price lines, buy lines, new products.
You will work closely with several other departments including, IT, purchasing, accounts payable and product managers.
You will be responsible for continually seeking out new tools to simplify and automate your area of expertise.
Must be advanced in Excel The position will consist of but will not be limited to the following duties and
Responsibilities:
Reconciling purchase orders Work with the buyers, product managers and vendors to maintain current price sheets Maintain and update pricing database regularly Be responsible for accurate and consistent Product and UOM descriptions Review new products report daily to ensure products are setup correctly Manage the Price Lines and Buy Lines spreadsheets Help to better organize Price Lines (sold items that are similar) for more accurate reporting Assist in the (PDW) Product Data Warehouse project Create kit products and assist in creating associated or add-on item suggestions with managers Price updates when invoiced cost does not match Eclipse cost Reconciling large vendor invoices where the AP department isn't able to match up products, descriptions, etc.
(especially new setup and new location orders) Merging products when there are duplicates Review, file and automate receiving paperwork Train employees on new processes pertaining to products, price line, pricing, etc.
Evaluate current processes to help streamline and better use technology Involved in managing Special Order items not sold Managing the Inventory and File Maintenance for Discontinued and Non-Stock Inventory Answer all phone calls, emails, job queues from management and co-worker requests for information in a timely manner.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
