Hours Needed:
Part time, Full time, Weekends, Afternoons and Evenings Hours subject to change due to emergencies that may arise or weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
General maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds.
Maintain the grounds in a clean, safe and orderly manner, including but not limited to mowing, weeding and snow removal.
Janitorial responsibilities such as cleaning, waxing floors and washing delivery vehicles.
Ensure the physical property is clean, safe, inviting and well maintained.
Other projects and duties assigned.
Qualifications:
All potential employees must be trustworthy and responsible and have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
Basic knowledge of the following trades:
carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting and groundskeeping.
Perform a variety of physical labor activities including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of weight.
Willingness to work outside during inclement weather conditions.
Possess a valid Connecticut driver's license.
The ability to pass a background check is a must.
