Asst Gen Manager

Our client, a premier manufacturer specializing in tailored workholding solutions, is in search of a candidate to join its Management Development Program.
This program aims to identify and nurture future leaders within the company as part of its strategic succession planning efforts.
The selected candidate will engage in diverse roles across the organization, benefiting from personalized mentoring throughout their journey.
This position is based at our Meriden CT facility.
Key
Responsibilities:
Spearhead projects aimed at enhancing company efficiency, ensuring the production of high-quality products delivered punctually and at optimal costs.
Actively contribute to fostering a culture of lean manufacturing, striving to eliminate wastage from production processes.
Uphold a safe working environment, proactively identifying and addressing safety hazards while adhering to relevant state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.
Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
While experience in metalworking and/or manufacturing is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
However, a basic understanding of mechanical principles is essential.
Thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and seeks opportunities to broaden knowledge and skills.
Demonstrates flexibility and a strong team-oriented mindset.
