Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders and process payments accurately using a cash register.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations based on their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area.
- Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and special offers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and provide support as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail or automotive environment.
- Familiarity with automotive service and repair is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management such as reynolds and reynolds or similar software.
- Strong negotiation skills to handle customer complaints or issues effectively.
- Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions and calculating discounts.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
